Start with bananas. For this version of nice cream, they can be frozen or fresh. Personally, I use fresh because the rest of the fruit is frozen, and having a fresh banana just makes the blender run smooth and easy.
Put the banana and other frozen fruit into your blender or food processor and blitz them until nice and smooth. You might need to add a tablespoon of water or plant milk to help get it nice and creamy. Serve it immediately for a soft-serve consistency or place it in a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least a couple of hours for ascoopable consistency.
You really don’t have to top this delicious dessert with anything but, if you would like to add a little something, some of my favorites are GrapeNuts, fresh berries, granola, and cherries.
