You will want to begin by deciding which fruits to use on your skewers. Personally, I love firm fruit such as melons, berries, grapes, and pineapples.
Fruits to avoid would be the types that oxidize quickly and turn brown such as bananas, apples, and pears.
Wash your fruit of choice well and pat dry with a towel. Then, you’ll want to begin cutting any larger fruit into chunks that will fit on the skewers.
I like to keep my fruit approximately the same size. So, when I use grapes, I like to cut any larger fruit to about the size of my grapes.
Thread the fruit chunks onto your skewers. To me, they look the nicest when all of the kabobs are arranged in the same pattern.
Serve as is or whip up some of my Lime Fruit Sauce in about 5 minutes.
