Start with bananas. For this version of nice cream, they can be frozen or fresh. Personally, I use fresh because the rest of the fruit is frozen, and having a fresh banana just makes the blender run smooth and easy.
Place the banana and other frozen fruit into your blender or food processor and blitz them until nice and smooth. You might need to add a tablespoon of water or plant milk to help get it nice and creamy.
Serve it immediately for a soft-serve consistency or place it in a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least a couple of hours for ascoopable consistency.
You really don’t have to top this delicious dessert with anything but, if you would like to add a little something, some of my favorites are GrapeNuts, fresh berries, granola, and cherries.

Tips & Suggestions:Fruit- Bananas are the most popular base for nice cream due to their creamy texture when frozen and blended. However, you can also use other fruits like mangoes, berries, peaches, or pineapple. Combining different fruits can create unique flavors and textures, but bananas typically provide the smoothest consistency. That is why we use a combination of bananas and other fruits for this recipe.Customize- You can customize your fruit nice cream with various add-ins such as nut butters, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, or even a handful of spinach for a nutrient boost. Toppings like chopped nuts, coconut flakes, or fresh fruit can also be added for extra flavor and texture.Storage- Leftover fruit nice cream can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer. However, it will harden over time, so when you're ready to enjoy it again, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften before scooping. Alternatively, you can re-blend it with a small amount of plant-based milk to restore its creamy texture.
