Custom Plant-Based License Plates
Well, I did it! This my new customized license plate. Or, as I like to think of it, my car’s new stick-on tattoo.
Since being inspired many months ago by a friend’s Facebook post with a picture of Rich Roll’s California plate that says, “PLNTBSD,” I have been considering getting a custom plate for my car. (Rich Roll was named one of the “25 Fittest Men in the World” by Men’s Fitness Magazine, and is a #1 best selling author.)
His bio is impressive and can be found HERE. Photo used with personal permission from Rich Roll himself. He even said he loved my blog post about Mentoring a High School Cross Country Runner in Plant-Based Nutrition. Not kidding!
My friend, that posted Rich Roll with his custom plate, also has a personalized plate, that matches Rich Roll’s, for her state of Montana. I absolutely loved the idea when she posted this!
It’s such a great way to advertise and share something that you’re are passionate about. Some people get personalized tags because they’re easier to remember than regular ones. Others are trying to make a statement. But, for me, it’s about sharing my passion.
I realize there are people that may think it’s silly, and some will think it’s awesome. One thing is for sure, either way, the tag will get their attention and maybe make them think about it. That’s good enough for me! Go plants!
That is such a wonderful idea! I too would love to find a WFPB group in my area. There are so many plant based folks in Ca, it shouldn’t be a problem but somehow, I cannot find one. But I am thankful for blogs, videos, and all our Facebook friends educating us and showing us the way.
Nadge, I agree! Having online access to so many plant-based sites and forums feels like being part of a community. Love sharing the journey! 🙂
I live in Montana and would love to get together with others here who are plant based. I have only been doing this for a year and could use the support. Would love to know if your friend might be interested.
