When I was younger–in my 20’s and 30’s–I used to hop up on this counter to raise the window this time of year to let in the breeze. That’s been out of the question for many years.
I just got in from work and thought about dragging my usual chair from the dining room in to raise it but thought, maybe… just maybe. And at 47 years of age, this girl just easily popped herself up on her knees to this countertop to raise the window without any problem whatsoever!
It’s the small things that I used to accept as permanent impossibilities that keep thrilling my heart! My 40s are better than my 30s! Just wow! GO ME!! Click here to read my story.
