Crockpot sizes
For most of these recipes, I use a 6-quart Crock-Pot. Oftentimes, I make double-batches for freezing or taking to gatherings and use an even larger slow cooker, because I have a number of different sizes.
When I’m making my crockpot carrot little smokies, they are more of an appetizer and so I use my smaller 2-quart crockpot. I’ve even found that it is perfect for making a single batch of bbq soy curls for sandwiches.
Cooking for large events and crowds requires a larger 8-quart crockpot and I tend to use mine when I’m making chili for family get-togethers.
