On a healthy plant-based diet, people often wonder what in the world is left for vegans to eat. They picture them disparagingly munching on carrots and celery sticks throughout the day with a large green salad for dinner.

Though vegans do stick with eating from four food groups–legumes, grains, fruits, and vegetables–the reality is that eating healthy is a far cry from boring and depriving. A healthy plant-based meal actually includes dishes like spinach mushroom lasagna, black bean burgers, veggie pizza, and even nachos.

There’s no need to feel deprived when you’re eating a whole food plant-based diet (WFPB) because there are so many delicious vegan dinner recipes to choose from.
