What is vegan barbeque made from?

Vegan bbq for the grill can be made from a number of different things. These are some of the most popular healthy options that you’ll find in premade in the grocery store or used in recipes.

  • Tempeh- It is made by fermenting cooked soybeans and then forming the mixture into a firm patty or cake. Use it to make Smoked Bacon, BBQ Ribs, stir-fries, and lots of other vegan dishes.
  • Seitan- This is what many companies use to make vegan burgers, sausages, and other vegan meat substitutes. Sietan can also easily be made at home using vital wheat gluten.
  • Soy Curls- What is it? Soy curls are simply non-GMO soybeans that have been cooked to the point where the soy breaks apart into strands. Then they are dried and packaged. That’s it! They can be used to make sandwiches, stir fries, casseroles, and lots of other recipes.
  • Mushrooms- Mushrooms are hearty and add a meaty texture to vegan meals like these Portobello Burgers.
  • Beans- Other great options are recipes with beans like these Black Bean Burgers.
